Man Who Claims Aaron Hernandez Shot Him Did Time for Selling Drugs in Manchester

Alexander Bradley served an 18-month prison sentence in 2006, and he is now claiming in a civil suit that Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez shot him in February.

The 31-year-old Connecticut man who is claiming New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez shot him in Miami in February was convicted in 2006 of selling drugs in Manchester.

The Hartford Courant reported Thursday that Alexander S. Bradley told Manchester police following a March 10, 2006, narcotics arrest that he had been dealing cocaine in the area for the previous eight months.

Online court records show Bradley pleaded guilty that year and was sentenced in July to an 18-month prison sentence followed by five years of probation.

Bradley is now suing Hernandez and seeking more than $100,000 in damages claiming Hernandez shot him on Feb. 13 of this year.

Around 6:45 a.m. that day Bradley was found on the ground bleeding from his head following an alleged argument with Hernandez at a Riviera Beach, FL, strip club, the Courant reported. Bradley was uncooperative with police during the investigation, saying he didn't know who shot him, however in the lawsuit he identified Hernandez as the shooter, the Courant reported.

Bradley also has three separate motor-vehicle convictions from 2009-12 in Bristol and Rockville.
