While police continue to investigate a fatal one-car crash that killed local Glastonbury High School senior Elisabeth Modlesky, officers charged another local 17-year-old with two counts of allowing minors to possess alcohol.

On Friday police charged a Glastonbury 17-year-old with two counts of permitting to possess alcohol in connection with an investigation into the crash that killed Modlesky.

Officers concluded that the 17-year-old female, whose identity was not released, had hosted two parties in the nights prior to Modlesky’s accident where minors were consuming alcoholic beverages.

Modlesky, a lacrosse star who would have been a GHS senior in the fall, was killed after crashing an SUV she was driving into a tree on Woodhaven Road at 5:30 a.m. on July 14, according to police.
