Glastonbury Police Searching for ATM Robber

The ATM robbery is similar to a string of robberies that occurred in Manchester Monday.

Glastonbury police are asking for the public's help investigating a reported ATM robbery that took place at the Manchester Road People's Bank Sunday afternoon.

The robbery occurred on Sunday August 12, 2102 at approximately 12:15PM at the People’s Bank, near the rear of the Walgreen’s Pharmacy at 1320 Manchester Road. The suspect approached an individual who was using the ATM, demanded cash, and then fled on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, Sgt. Rich McKeon of the  said.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 18-22 years old, approximately 5'7" tall and 140 lbs, with longer dark-colored hair. He was last seen wearing a baseball-style hat, a white or yellow t-shirt and multi-colored Bermuda shorts. The suspect is believed to have been in the area of the Walgreen’s for an extended time period prior to the robbery.

The Glastonbury Police department is seeking the public’s help in
identifying this person, and anyone who saw this person or has any
information on the person is asked to call Sgt. Michael Furlong at 860-652-
4263 or the Police dispatch center at 860-633-8301.
