First Niagara Bank Branch Inside ShopRite Robbed

Police say the robbery occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday, just as the branch was closing.

The First Niagara Bank branch inside the ShopRite at 214 Spencer St. was robbed Tuesday night, according to Manchester Police. 

Police say the robbery occurred around 9 p.m., just as the branch was preparing to close, when a man described as "five foot seven, mid 30’s, looked Hispanic or Indian decent wearing a dark blue baseball hat, reading glasses and a dark zip-up coat" enter the branch and handed a note to a teller. 

The note read “Large Bills no Tricks! Hurry!”

The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact MPD Detectives at 860-645-5510.
