8th Utilities District Battles Early Morning Bond Street Blaze

The fire occurred at a home at 14 Bond St. at approximately 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

A fire was reported at a home on Bond Street early this morning, but the fire was extinguished without injuries. 

According to reports and witnesses at the scene, the fire occurred at a residence at 14 Bond St. at approximately 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The occupants of the home managed to escape without injury before firefighters arrived. 

The Manchester Fire Department 8th Utilities District responded to the blaze, and was assisted by the Manchester Fire, Rescue and EMS. The Vernon and South Windsor fire departments covered the town's fire houses while both local departments combatted the blaze.
