18-Year Old Manchester Man Charged With Statutory Sexual Assault of 14-Year Old Neighbor

According to Manchester Police, Ethenne Joseph Levick began a sexual relationship with his 14-year old neighbor even though he knew the girl was underage at the time.

An 18-year old Manchester man was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor after police say he engaged in a sexual relationship with his 14-year old female neighbor even though he knew the girl was underage at the time.

According to Manchester Police, Ethenne Joseph Levick, 18, began a flirtatious relationship with his 14-year old neighbor in early February. Both Levick and the underaged 14-year old girl were students at Manchester High School, according to police.

According to an affidavit obtained from Manchester Superior Court, Levick and the victim both said their relationship began as friends, but slowly escalated into a physical relationship when the two kissed in school near the Bailey Auditorium in mid-February.

The underaged girl told police that she then began sneaking over to Levick's house around 3:30 a.m. several times a week when her father would leave for work, and that she and Levick would talk and make out.

When questioned about the relationship, Levick admitted to police that he performed oral sex on the girl on one occasion while she was at his house late at night, and on another occasion said that he and the underaged girl attempted to have sex, but that she complained that it hurt and he stopped. The girl confirmed Levick's version of events and told police that Levick did not force or make her do anything against her will.

Levick told police that he knew the girl was only 14 at the time of their sexual encounters and acknowledged that things between he and the victim "went a little too fast." Levick told police that he knows the girl's parents probably "hate" him, but that he hopes he can have some sort of relationship with the girl someday and that he feels he could spend the rest of his life with her.

Levick was released on a $250,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on the charges May 24.
