AND SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS..............

I just want to take a few moments to wish the readers of this Blog a wonderful Holiday season and to thank you for your feedback on my posts this year!

I am looking forward to celebrating Christmas in my church community ( Second Congregational UCC in Manchester). If you have any affiliation with a Christian church, I wish to encourage you to take part in worship in a congregation this week. If you have been away from a church community, I hope you will consider attending a service.

To members of other faith traditions....my hope and prayer is that ALL people may respect one another and live together in peace, with deep regard for the importance of working for justice...for ALL! A long time ago, in his song IMAGINE, John Lennon offered a critique of religion as he implied that religion was an impediment to what was good and right. My hope is that all people who claim religious faith will see  faith as an instrument for good and an inspiration for treating others with dignity.
