Community Corner

Invitation from Miss Connecticut US 2014

Come join me on Sunday, March 30th, for Linda's Walk for Hope a community event to raise research funds for the fight against breast cancer.
It's personal...
This worthwhile cause is very near and dear to my heart; my family has been, and continues to be, personally and deeply affected by this terrible disease. Recently, we lost my Aunt Linda far too early when she succumbed to breast cancer at the age of 46. This walk is in honor of my beloved Aunt Linda.

Research dollars play a critical role. According to the Susan G. Komen Foundation the 5-year relative survival rate for women diagnosed with early stage breast cancer has risen from 74% in 1980 to a remarkable 99% today.
Come, and help me make a difference. Join the millions of other volunteers across the country to walk and be a part of the fight to end breast cancer. Encourage your friends and family to support us with their generous donations.
Appreciatively yours,
Ashley Boaté,   Miss Connecticut US 2014
