Gone Downhill

What has happened to Manchester Patch! ?  Where is the Manchester news that doesn't make it to other publications?  The Manchester Police Blotter is one example.  Anyone can cut and paste.  C'mon Manchester Patch, get out of your computer chair and get the news! ! !

OK, I'll jump in. The original concept of ManchesterPatch was to highlight Manchester and get a conversation going about local issues. It was supposed to take up the vacuum left by the lack of print news on local issues Since they dumped Dave Moran, it's become a regional rehash of whatever news is in the JI or HC but only worse. Fluff is a good descriptor. Useless, another. Close it or get back to it's original purpose.

Would to see whoever puts out this useless drivel comment on our comments. Would they have the guts too?? Or is the empty suit that publishes this fluff some drone from outta state & is out of touch just cop stories from wherever & tries to pass this fluff off as local news without looking as to where he is sending this so called local news to? Bring back Dave Moran

A most recent example: Not 1 paragraph has been published regarding the condo fire this past Sunday by the mall. I'll bet that Moran would've at least gone to visit the fire chief if he wasn't able to make it to the scene. This is outrageous! ! !

Here's one that Dave might have questioned. New principal rejects offer and Kisel says they'll go back through the process like they did with Geary. No one at MHS belives hiring Geary was a process. He was selected by Kisel when Kisel got the "interim" position, with the condition that he(Geary) would get the job after Kisel. Proof: The premature announcement that Geary will take over next year. Why didn't they wait until the school year was over or near the end? Was Geary becoming restless? AND if Geary needed the strokes of the next guy one can wonder how long will he be in Manchester.Does anyone really believe he'll move here and send his kids to school in town? Time will answer many of these questions, but I think Dave would have asked them sooner. My guess is Geary is a short timer, just like his time as principal, all of 2yrs., half of which was splitting time between MHS and the BOE. Transparency, a word used by the BOE,but not practiced by them. STAY TUNED!
