East Catholic High School Student Named Eagle Scout

East Catholic High School in Manchester, CT is proud to announce that sophomore Cameron Torres has been named an Eagle Scout by the Boy Scouts of America.

During Cameron’s years of scouting he has performed numerous community service projects.  His Eagle Scout project involved leading a team of six scouts, one teen and seven adults in constructing and installing of a fire pit with a compass inlayed in the brick at Grace Lutheran Church in Middletown. He passes his love of scouting to others through leadership roles in the organization and will be working as camp counselor this summer.  Cameron is a student ambassador at East Catholic and is a member of the hockey, track and soccer teams at the school.
