East Catholic High School is pleased to announce that Senior Jillian Bray has been appointed to the United States Coast Guard Academy.  The Coast Guard Academy is ranked among the nation’s elite undergraduate colleges. This is reflected in their highly selective admission process, which annually identifies the best 300 candidates from a nationwide pool of approximately 5,000 applicants.

Jillian is a scholar athlete and a member of the East Catholic Girls Basketball Team.  She is also an accomplished singer and a member of the National Honor Society as well as the East Catholic High School Tri-M Music Honor Society.  Jillian has done extensive community service volunteering her time at Birth Right, MARC of Manchester and assisting the elderly in Vernon.

What a remarkable young women. I thank her for being willing to serve and congratulate for what I know will be a incredible opportunity. Just another example of what East Catholic students are doing to benefit us all.
