MCC Vets Club Celebrates Veteran’s Day!

Manchester Community College Veteran’s Club celebrated Veteran’s Day, on Monday, November 11th, by selling wristbands and placing mini american flags near the MCC flag poles.

Each flag was placed in honor of a vet known by someone on campus, students and community members began signing up with the Vets Club on Tuesday, November 5th. The Vets Club requested a donation of any amount which would go to their club fund, along with revenue from the wristbands that were sold at their table for $2. Bobbie Fox, advisor to the Vets Club, said that about 250-300 flags had been placed around the flag poles.
