You've never seen anything like this in Manchester!

It's the first ever Chef’s Challenge!  If you’re a fan of Top Chef, Iron Chef and Chopped on The Food Network, then you will love what we have in store for you!

The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is once again providing opportunities to our local businesses to get involved in a “Buy Local” event.  What’s the gist?  Local restaurant chef’s will compete in a challenge that will involve mystery ingredients to be unveiled to each of them individually before the challenge day. The Chef’s then have to come up with a dish that incorporates these ingredients.  Chef’s will be judged at the Chef’s Challenge on five requirements; flavor, use of the mystery ingredients, how well the dish transported, creativity and presentation.

How can you get involved?  Along with our local “celebrity” judges, you have a vote as well.  Purchase a ticket to the event and cast your vote.  The Chef with the most “people’s choice” votes earns more points toward their end score.
