Protecting Your Children – A FREE Program Called "Operation Kid Safe"

Operation Kid Safe is a FREE event for your family hosted this coming weekend at Carter Chevrolet and Mazda of Manchester.

Working as a news producer in local television, I fielded far too many phone calls and emails about missing children, runaways, and kidnappings.  The conversations with parents and police were always heart wrenching.  And perhaps one of the most difficult parts was trying to help find the child by broadcasting the story – but not having a current picture of the kid so people could help find him or her.

This coming weekend, Carter Chevrolet and Mazda of Manchester are sponsoring “Operation Kid Safe.”  We’re flying in a team to host this event at NO CHARGE to you and your family.  Here’s how it works:

Operation Kid Safe captures your child’s picture and fingerprints using a digital video capture device, digital ink-less fingerprint capture device and specialized software.  The captured data is assembled and a quality 8.5” x 11” printout is
given to the parent.  The parent can use the printout they receive to provide to law enforcement anywhere in the world to instantly aid in an investigation.

No database or records of your kids are kept – the only record of the visit goes home with you, the parents.
