The other day we were looking at a home that was vacant and were
considering purchasing as a flip. As my wife and I walk through the property,
there was a lot written on the walls in a couple of the bedrooms, I guess they
were young kids.
"I don’t want to move. I won’t be able to see Cindy any more. Will the
new kids like me? Where will we live? This is the only home I have ever known.
Mommy and daddy are fighting all the time. Daddy can’t find a job. Mommy says I
can’t take all my toys."
There was a lot more, but you get the idea. How often we forget about
the moms, dads and kids as we go through the bank owned properties. We walked
out, never to go back to this home, no matter the price. We ended our property
search for this day.
