What a Great Idea, Keeping Losing Billions to Operate the Post Office

Recently we were told that Saturday delivery of mail would end and many post offices would close so that they could balance their budget.

Today I read that it will be business as usual with continued Saturday delivery of mail and no post office closings. The article said, the reason is that Congress needs to approve these changes and there is no immediate time frame for them to take up this issue.

Are you kidding me? They are hemorrhaging with billions in losses for years and they don’t have an urgency to bring this to a vote? What if the voters voted to have these losses paid for by the members of the Congress, Senate and administration? Do you think they would figure out a way to fix all the deficits?
