Trudy Brought Tears to My Eyes

Many years ago, Trudy came to me for a job, primarily as a painter. We had a pretty large crew at the time, as we were building single family homes, condominiums and flipping homes, so we were always looking to add good people.

You just never know the impact we make on the lives of others and the impact they have as well. As you will see Trudy and Freddie became a couple, they had both worked for me for years. I don’t remember how many real estate transactions I did with them, but it was many and few with family members as well. We still see each other from time to time, but never without a hug and a wonderful smile.

Trudy just sent me this email and was something I thought I would share.

Hey Joe...

Freddie  and I had just celebrated our 29 Th  anniversary,,

While sitting by the fire sipping wine,, we started to talk of all that we are blessed with.

Actually starting from the present and working backwards.

So much to be grateful for Joe. We have spent most of our time traveling the USA in a  house on wheels.. visiting places on top of mountains ..in deep valleys.. along rivers and streams ...deserts and forest,, Coast to Coast and Canada to Mexico..

Fred and I met in Westbrook CT.

At the time I worked for you painting houses and apts..

I had met everyone who was employed by Petrowsky Real Estate.. Almost that is,, Much talk was about the man called Freddie.

After awhile my curiosity started to get the best of me.  I wondered who in heck is this man people talk about.. (Only good things)

Freddie was asked to build some kitchen cabinet for that particular house. It was a cold NOV when we met..

Joe , when I applied for a job with your company.. I came with a letter addressed to you. A sales pitch I must say.... (I know I am a women...etc etc..) it started out

When driving home.. I had very little hope I would get hired.

Joe, I owe a lot to you hon.. I owe the last 30 plus years to you.. And for this I am soo grateful.

When I returned home the phone was ringing  .. It was you calling.. You asked me if I had time to run back to Central Village. You wanted to talk.

My life as I know it now ...started with that call..

People make a difference.. people  change lives,

Thanks Joe

FOREVER GRATEFUL
