“I’m a 36 Year Old Nurse and Mother of 3 and My Credit Sucks”
She told me that her co-worker was standing next to her and making her call me. I had done a mortgage for the co-worker a couple of years ago.
She shared that she has been divorced for two years, but she couldn’t make all her credit card payments, once the ex was gone. He was supposed to be paying $500 a week child support and the last time she got any money was a year and a half ago. She was paying $1250 per month in rent and wanted to own a home.
I ran the credit she had a 514 mid score. 9 collection accounts, all of them totaled $6500. 4 student loans, all deferred and no other credit. I gave her a roadmap of what to do.

I gave her all the contact information for the collections. Let her know to contact the smallest obligations first and settle each collection. To set up two secured credit cards, charge gas or other thing and pay off the balance each month and to stop paying her rent in cash and only pay by check.
It may take her a year or so to get everything accomplished, but the alternative keep renting for years to come. She is now on the "Right Trac". Sorry, I couldn't help it.
