Do Your Emails Manage You?"

You have no idea how many emails I see in a day, its an amazing number. There was a time that my emails managed me. I was literally a slave to my inbox.

I use Outlook for my emails and Microsoft Exchange Server. I have created so many filters that very little gets through that I don’t want to see. If something gets through that I don’t want to see again, I block the specific email to never show up in my inbox again. 

I used to get 300-400 emails per day, today under 100. I also will not look at emails that come in more than 3 times per day. The time spent on emails was 3-4 hours, now am down under 2 hours.

So, do you manage your emails or do they manage you?
