Very seldom is interest rate the reason someone calls me. Believe me, like everyone else, I want the best deal I can get on anything I buy. The mortgage world is a mystery to most people, so dealing with someone that you trust or was referred to you is extremely important.
Every once in a while someone will call or email me with the following, "What are your interest rates?" Anyone who gives an answer to that question without knowing a whole bunch of information, I would be very concerned about.

There is always going to be someone that can get you a better rate and be willing to work for nothing. Depending upon the response and I’m OK with, there intention to keep shopping for rate.
