A Home Inspection Is an Absolute Must

You should always get a home inspection when purchasing a new home to possibly uncover issues that could affect the price or even the decision to move forward.

When I do a pre-approval for clients, one of the discussions is about the home buying process and the importance of a home inspector. Most people understand, but from time to time I am asked why they need one. Very quickly they understand how important.

There are times that I have clients referred to me, that I would not have done a pre-approval for and they already have a deposit on a property. Every once and in while, the purchase agreement indicates no inspections.

I never understand the rationale, but when I am told that one of the parties recommended that a home inspection was not necessary, I get extremely concerned.

The home inspections should always be part of every home purchase, no matter what.

Assumption School offers an excellent education, with small class sizes. The environment isRead More welcoming for every child, and values that last a lifetime are taught. Students also make friends for life. I still hang out with my friends from the Assumption School class of 1966!
