30,000 Bank of America Jobs to be Cut by the End of 2013

Who can do a better job getting our country out of the mess we are in –  and I mean fast!

It should very clear to most of America that the Main Street media want to see President Obama re-elected. It should also be clear to most in America that when the Federal Reserve chairman doesn’t see the job market getting better until 2015, then he must have a pretty good idea that our economy is in deep trouble. We keep being told that our economy is getting better and that it will take four more years to get things turned around. This is no longer a political issue, it is a survival issue. You can spin this any way you want. We have to decide who can do a better job getting our country out of the mess we are in and I mean fast. We can’t afford to take four more years to figure out we made a mistake and have to put our money, or should I say our future, on the wrong person.

Here's The Biggest Problem In The American Economy

Think Positive October 1, 2012 at 05:32 pm
Everyone owes it to themself to check out the charts in this article by Henry Blodget. It's worth your time.
There's a lot of sturm und drang these days about who wrecked the economy. And there is a lot of yelling about how to fix it. But the economy is complicated, so it's easy to get fooled by someone who is yelling persuasively, especially if they play for your favorite political team. And the truth is that the "government" is never going to fix our economy. The government can't fix our economy. The only people who can fix our economy are us http://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-fix-the-economy-in-one-simple-chart-2012-8
Think Positive October 1, 2012 at 05:35 pm
Hey, don't worry, Willard Mitt Romney, he'll fix everything.

(Let's try this again - first post vanished, sorry if you're seeing this twice)
What's going on? America is INSANE. Insanity, craziness or madness is a spectrum of behaviors characterized by certain abnormal mental or behavioral patterns. Patterns is the key word here. For over 100 years, America has been electing Democrat or Republican presidents expecting change. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different outcomes is a trait of insanity. Why is America insane? The Owners of the US (credit to the late George Carlin) have engineered society by the mass media. Newspapers, radio & TV - all the channels and radio you can receive are owned by a FOR PROFIT corporation. The rabbit whole is deep...but you don't have to go down it and have your friends think you're a terrorist or conspiracy theorist. So how what's the remedy? * Vote. But do not vote for a REP or DEM. If anyone tells you that you are wasting your vote, that is a lie and you should explain to that person that what they are doing is extremely unpatriotic. * Turn off your TV. Seriously. Do your own reading and research. The owners are having a very difficult time hiding the truth in today's information technology world we live in. Yes - technology has replaced some jobs, but it has created many also and, more importantly, it has ENABLED the common citizen to communicate better (like this). You should vote with complete confidence in your choice, NOT the lessor of two evils!!!
R Eleveld October 1, 2012 at 05:48 pm
TP, you are correct. However when the laws, rules and regulations make that option difficult, how would you suggest we combat that problem?
Think Positive October 1, 2012 at 06:42 pm
George Carlin was great. Saw him perform in person once, what a funny guy. Sure do miss him.

Exactly, what we are seeing is this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqW-Fv1eLCU Repubs are fools that have spent years trying to ignore what W did and blame Obama for everything, it's childish arrogance at it's worse. Joe apparently sits around placating himself while looking for something to blame on Obama, while being blind to the real issues. As far as this goes BOA sucks because BOA is not BOA suckers, it's FLEET, FLEET used to be known for the SHARK FINS and terrible scams on people, they bought BOA and changed their name to BOA to reinvent themselves. Trouble is they did not reinvent themselves, when you put lipstick on a pig IT'S STILL A PIG. This issue has little to do with Obama and much to do with Repubs and Wall St and the rhetoric from Tea.
Robin Hood October 1, 2012 at 07:06 pm
The real problem all around is CFMA of 2000.
I have been saying it for 8 years since the ENRON Loophole was discovered, most of you are too arrogant to learn, I've tried but after years of reading right wing wackiness I'm afraid you are much too deep in your psychosis to learn. Both parties suck, both are controlled by the corporates and this is the cause of all of our issues, the rest is just BS to keep you fighting amongst yourselves http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5274961n&tag=contentBody;storyMediaBox You all say the same thing on every topic, blah blah blah, whether Obama or Robme wins will not matter if CFMA of 2000 is still law.
Robin Hood October 1, 2012 at 07:12 pm
...and most if not all of these problems would never have happened if jerks like Phil Gramm and Reagan and daddy Bush had not pushed for banking de-regulation in the 1980's, yeah it made a few rich, the rest of us got screwed and now we have to bail out these huge entities, the whole concept of not allowing them to get big was to control loss that US taxpayers have to eat, it seems no rich AH's have to turn in their helicopters, yachts or islands when they screw up, nope, we pay for it, go figure.
Those rules were based on history, screw me once, get a new regulation, that's what regulations are for, protecting us. Let's just keep going in circles instead of forward, fools.

Rick Santorum: 'Smart People' Will Never Be On Our Side http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/15/rick-santorum-smart-peopl_n_1886684.html

Santorum said What? WOW. Guess he's had a chance of heart. Or maybe he's just another Flip Flopper.
"Presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday said Republicans should give President Barack Obama another term if Santorum isn’t the GOP nominee and for a second day compared rival Mitt Romney to an Etch A Sketch toy Romney, who made no public appearances Thursday, issued a statement expressing disappointment “that Rick Santorum would rather have Barack Obama as president than a Republican" http://washington.cbslocal.com/2012/03/22/santorum-might-as-well-have-obama-over-romney/
Think Positive October 1, 2012 at 07:30 pm
Uh Oh, Michael. Now what? .
Republicans Are Abandoning Romney’s Sinking Ship In a bit of political satire in Politico, Paul Ryan is now calling Mitt Romney “The Stench”, as in stench of defeat, and Team Romney refers to Paul Ryan as “Gilligan”. While it may be just humor, it has the air of hitting pretty close to the mark. Ryan and Romney don’t look too comfortable with each other these days. Where is the bromance we saw in August? Apparently the bloom is off that rose http://washington.cbslocal.com/2012/09/26/republicans-are-abandoning-romneys-sinking-ship/
Think Positive October 1, 2012 at 07:36 pm
So is Ryan jumping ship on Romney? With polls showing President Obama leading Romney by a margin of 8 points, Ryan has been in damage control for Romney. The recent Pew Research Center poll has Obama leading Romney 51 percent to 43 in the General Election. This late in the game suggests that Ryan may be watching out for his own back

Remember, it’s only a handout when it benefits someone else. If it benefits you then you’ve obviously “earned it”.

Obama and Democrats would not know how to create a JOB if it bit them in the you know what. 4 years and Trillions and all America gets is excuses, excuses, excuses, blame, blame, blame. Enough already. People are not stupid.
The Best Patriot October 1, 2012 at 08:57 pm
Jim: People are stupid. They voted for Bush TWICE (yea, I know once was illegal) and look how that worked out. And Romney is just a Bush clone. “MITT ROMNEY The Republican Party's GREAT WHITE DOPE.”
John Yannacci, Sr. October 1, 2012 at 09:02 pm
Jane,
Let's not forget that, for two years, Obama and the Democrats had control of both the House and the Senate. Or, is that inconvenient to your theory?
Jim Aspen October 1, 2012 at 09:47 pm
"Hope for more Dopes" is making the internet rounds regarding Obamas campaign.
Malvi Lennon October 1, 2012 at 10:24 pm
@Think Positive: I am flattered you follow me. Not only was I a candidate for the general assembly in 2010 this year I am the Republican and Independent Nominee for the state senate in district 2. However, the simple fact that someone runs for public office does not make him or her "politician". There is a huge difference between a public servant and a politician. People who stay in office for 15 20 25 years and accomplish little to nothing (besides running a state and a nation into the ground) are politicians. Those of us who are interested in representing the electorate, helping small businesses grow, and doing something about public education want to be public servants.
R Eleveld October 1, 2012 at 10:35 pm
Again, no evidence of what it is you are talking about. It sound like you are envious.
Malvi Lennon October 1, 2012 at 10:35 pm
@augie42: Here are some ideas:
How about stopping the early release program that the liberal democrats including my opponent passed in the dead of night without holding a single public hearing? While I favor something other than incarceration for first time none violent offenders specially kids, I believe those convicted of crimes such as murder, rape, child molestation, etc. should serve every day of their sentence. How about we repeal the largest tax increase in CT history? On the other hand, repealing the tax on clothing and shoes under $50.00? How about we collaborate with small businesses and work for smart regulatory reform? Maybe we can also merge all the resources of the eight plus small business loans available and stream line the application process. While we are at it, we can stop picking winners and looser and instead of “targeting” certain business make, it available to all businesses and the best will qualify.
Kaptainsteve October 1, 2012 at 10:40 pm
Andrew, you nailed my point. The reason the bankster and politician criminals have stolen from us almost every penny we have is because we allow them access to TONS OF MONEY via taxation.
The only way to stop this is to limit government by choking off it's, now literally UNLIMITED (QEForever) budget and therefore it's power and influence to do harm. And, the worth thing is we look to MORE taxation to 'fix' things??? Austerity my arse! This logic is absolutely INSANE! It' s like giving an alcoholic an unlimited credit card for the pub down the street and expecting him to quit... It just ain't gonna happen anytime soon and worse, IT'S OUR OWN FAULT! Why should we pony up another red cent to the criminals after they've just run out the door with the jewels, the tv and all our furniture? But, that's what it seems we want to do.
Kaptainsteve October 1, 2012 at 10:46 pm
Malvi, I agree with most you say and this time as well. But, we need a paradigm shift. Depending on new politicians to fix a problem the old politicians made is not a solution that will ever work. Today's new politician is tomorrow's crooked con artist.
The only way out of this mess is to give them less to work with. We need to give them LESS, not more to steal from us. Of course, this requires changing our view of what government is supposed to do back to what was intended. We must limit government (federal) to protection our unalienable rights to life, liberty and property and every thing else must be gutted. If you want a dept. of education (and God knows only why?) then do it the local level so it is escapable. Individuals can move away from a town or state like Calif., CT, or Mass that are mini experiments in modern Marxism/Fascism. We can no longer trust politicians. That experiment has failed time and time again. Let's realize that unless we address their access to unlimited borrowing and taxes nothing has any real reason to change.
Kaptainsteve October 1, 2012 at 10:49 pm
@Think Positive
Who cares what Malvi ran for? Who cares if she was/is a republican? If you disagree with what she says then why don't you address what she said???
Kaptainsteve October 1, 2012 at 11:02 pm
R,
I agree, but I just take things much farther. The problem is that the politicians have unlimited access to borrowing and spending and this makes them very corruptible. Until we give them less access to this kind (Trillions) of money, they will always be corrupt - how can they not? I agree that they shouldn't be involved in all those things you mention. I agree that they've gone too far with regulations. But, until we come back to the idea that government exists to protect our freedom, not encroach on it (or regulate and tax it away) things can never change. There are too many people on the government teat (whether they be senior citizens on medicare, farmers, unwed mothers, section 8'rs, too big to fail banks and corporations, Medicaid, SSI, social security, military contractors, daycare providers, school lunches, etc) now. The vested interest is too great for almost any politician to resist pandering too. We need a paradigm shift in this country and we need it fast. Limit government to just a few boring things like national defense (from FOREIGN invasion) and maybe the patching the roads and spraying the lines and clear everything else off the table.
Kaptainsteve October 1, 2012 at 11:09 pm
Robin Hood, you are a one act play. We know you can't stand the GOP which is fine with me, but on the other hand if you think the Dems are any better, you still need the other half of your education...
Both parties are two heads of the same snake and serve the same masters. Ain't that what George Carlin always said? He was right. As I said elsewhere, Romney and Obama hold the same position on all the major issues like; Patriot Act, NDAA, NSA, TSA, deficit spending and national debt (Ryan's plan has almost the exact projected debt as Obama's spending), warmongering and foreign adventurism and finally, Romney/ObamaCare. Don't forget it was Romney who first unleashed it on Mass and now says that he has NO INTENTION of repealing it's major issues like the pre-existing conditions and until your 27 year old Baby Huey under your parents coverage.
