“Are the Employment Numbers Getting Better?”

Not by a long shot. If you think that the part-time employment numbers getting better is the answer to improving our economy, think again. OK, so let’s take a closer look at the numbers, the full time employment numbers went down and part-time employment numbers went up. Based on these numbers, the administration comes out with a proclamation that our economy is getting better.

If you haven’t figured it out already, many employers are changing their hiring policy to hire more part-time employees in order to avoid any insurance coverage because of the Obamacare mandates. These employers would much rather hire full time employees, but with the upcoming mandates, they are hiring differently.

The result of this hiring direction is preventing many potential home buyers from buying a home. This problem is only going to get worse. Lenders do not like seeing part time employment. Folks need to have two part time jobs, in some cases more in order to make ends meet.
