State Rep. Jack Thompson Endorses Joe Diminico

As local Democrats prepare for their nominating conventions on Tuesday evening, State Rep. John W. “Jack” Thompson announced this weekend that he is endorsing Democrat Joe Diminico in the race for the 13th House Assembly District. Rep. Thompson announced earlier this year that he would not seek re-election to the 13th after serving in the General Assembly since 1986.

Thompson said, “I have known Joe Diminico for years and am confident he will ably represent the constituents in the 13th. I am proud to endorse his candidacy.”

Diminico responded “I am honored to have Jack Thompson’s endorsement. I admire Jack’s life work, which include serving his country as a Marine during the Korean War, as Mayor of Manchester, and then in the General Assembly. He earned the respect of his colleagues and constituents because of his integrity and tireless advocacy for children’s issues. If elected, I will do my best to carry on his work.”
