Help with the Funeral Expenses for a Local Man

Richard Hastings recently passed away and a friend is raising money for the cause via the GoFundMe Web site.

According to the page on GoFundMe, Hastings left behind a large group of loved ones - all of whom were doing whatever they could to see that he had a proper send off.

The page states, "I was fortunate enough to be able to fly from Florida to Connecticut to see him in his last days. While he was frail and unable to speak, his emotions still shone through his eyes and his smile. We laughed together and sat quietly enjoying one another's company. It was a bittersweet visit as I knew in my heart it was the last time I would see him."
