Workshops on forming a Livable Neighborhood Group

The Town of Manchester’s Neighborhood Academy is offering a two night workshop to teach residents how to form a Livable Neighborhood Group.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide an overview of what the Livable Neighborhood program is, how it works, and how to organize a program in your neighborhood. More importantly, its purpose is to excite and mobilize residents, community leaders, faith-based groups, business leaders etc. to create a Livable Neighborhood group to make life better on the streets where they live.

Although the focus will be to pilot a Livable Neighborhood program in the Southwest Quadrant of Manchester, all youth and adults who want to make their neighborhood better are welcome to attend. Participant will also hear from members of the East Livable Neighborhood Group and learn about their first year experiences and initiatives.
