Tired of this Election? Tired of In Your Face Partisanship? Me Too!

A denial, but the proof is "in the pudding".

Raise your hand if you are sick and tired of this election!  Raise your hand if you are tired of “in your face” partisanship!

I have my hand raised (making it difficult to type this, but I'll try) and maybe you do too.  That's why I found myself both confused and disappointed a local Manchester business TotalVison EyeCare appears to endorse a GOP state Senate candidate Cheri Pelletier.

Take a moment to take a look at this web site, and let me explain:

You will see that a welcoming, business endorsement of TotalVision Eyecare, Dr. Lance Alpert and everything done on behalf of the patients of TotalVision Eyecare.  Right above that ad, however, is a partisan political ad for .  These videos appear on a "You Tube Channel" belonging to a "Timothy Becker".

I find this confusing and disappointing especially considering what has been reported on the Patch about Ms. Pelletier's SuperPAC-fueled partisan campaign.

That’s why I exchanged messages with the Dr. Lance Alpert of TotalVision EyeCare, who assured me the issue would be resolved.  I gave him the benefit of doubt, but as you can see, it has not.

Why is a local business so closely associated with a divisive SuperPAC-fueled political campaign?  Can we assume this as an endorsement by Dr. Alpert and TotalVision EyeCare of Ms. Pelletier’s campaign?  Do all employees share the same political view as Dr. Alpert and TotalVision Eyecare?  What sort of workplace exists if TotalVision EyeCare’s employees have a different political view?  Is "Timothy Becker" a paid member of the Pelletier campaign?

I would suggest it is “Best Business Practice” to “firewall” your personal, political views from your company.

After being paid apparent “lip service” by Dr. Alpert, I open this debate up to Patch readers to decide, with the desperate hope that Tuesday comes soon, and the election will be over.  In the meantime, if this concerns you as well, click here to ask questions of Dr. Alpert yourself, as I was not able to make any headway.
