Community Corner

Pioneer Dash 5K

The Trinity High School National Honor Society is sponsoring the First Annual Pioneer Dash 5K fundraiser to benefit New Horizons, the New Hampshire Food Bank, St. Anthony’s Food Pantry, the Salvation Army, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Pioneer Dash is a timed 5K that is open to runners and walkers of all skill levels. The first 150 runners who register online will receive a free t-shirt on race day.

“As a result of the recent closing of several major supermarkets, who regularly donated to local soup kitchens and food banks, we feel it is necessary to raise awareness to the public. At the same time we would like to make a significant difference in our community by raising money for these organizations, while hosting a fun event for the public,” said Michael Toomey, president of the Trinity National Honor Society.
