Matt Geary: Manchester High School 2014 on Manchester Review

In
the first of a two episode series, Matt Geary, MHS Principal and
Manchester Superintendent To Be, appears on Manchester Review with host
Jack Peak in March to discuss the current status of Manchester High
School. Geary discusses MHS’ progress on NEASC recommendations,
improvements in school culture and plans for six additional “Academic
Academies.” Peak questions Geary on efforts to close the Achievement
Gap, the impact of “school choice” on MHS enrollment and school
discipline in cases such as the “thot’ cyberbullying and sexual
harassment incident.
Geary
will also appear on Manchester Review in April to discuss district wide
issues such as elementary school reorganization, the recommended
Fifth/Sixth Grade Academy at Bennet, the impact of racial balance
requirements, School Choice and the Common Core controversy.
“Matt
Geary: Manchester High School 2014” will air Monday nights on Cox PATV
channel 15 at 9 PM. The second episode “Matt Geary: Manchester Public
Schools” will air in April.
