Manchester GOP: Where the Rubber Hits the Road
Director Mark Tweedie and political newcomer Patrick Greene appear on Manchester Review in October to argue that a Republican majority will bring fiscal sanity to Manchester. Greene and Tweedie both run small businesses. They say that when the rubber hits the road, Manchester Republicans know what to do.Tweedie and Greene, along with newcomer and businessman Tim Devanney, Bert Gay, and incumbents Susan Holmes and Cheri Pelletier hope to replace the democratic majority on the Board of Directors and get down to business building a more efficient Town government and lowering taxes. In addition they plan to investigate the feasibility of rubberizing our Town roads to reduce noise and costs, develop additional strategies to encourage business growth in Manchester and re-evaluate the multitude of Town Commissions and Boards. Tweedie, Greene and Devanney all have business experience to bring to the table.
