KASKESET concert:
Kaskeset (”scales” in Hebrew) was founded in 1996 and has become one of the nation's premiere Jewish a cappella groups, recording 5 full-length albums. Their repertoire includes songs in English and in Hebrew pertaining to Jewish values and culture. They perform a wide spectrum of music, including choral works, liturgy, rock, pop, & Israeli. Kaskeset was the first Jewish contemporary group in the world to advance to the semi-finals of the International Championship for Collegiate A Cappella,winning a Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award.Refreshments will be served after the concert. Tickets are $15 at the door/$10 adult - $5 student in advance/under 18 free.
