Holocaust Remembrance Day

Illing Middle School will be observing a Holocaust
Remembrance Day on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in
the school courtyard.  This ceremony will
be a culmination of our 8th grade students’ studies about the
Holocaust.  Students will remember those
who died in the Holocaust with music, poetry, candle-lighting, and a Name
Reading ceremony to honor the 1.5 million children who perished in the
Holocaust.

The
public is invited to attend this ceremony.
In case of inclement weather it will be moved to the Kelly Gym.  Please contact Phillip Axler at b25paxle@manchesterct.gov
for more information or to RSVP.

Illing
Middle School is located at 227 East Middle Turnpike, Manchester.
