Hartford Police Department to host Tip-A-Cop at DISH Bar & Grill for Special Olympics Connecticut

Officers from the
Hartford Police Department and employees of Dish Bar & Grill are teaming up
to host a Tip-A-Cop event for Special Olympics Connecticut on Thursday,
December 5, 2013. The event will take place at Dish Bar & Grill, 900 Main
Street, Hartford, CT from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Officers will don aprons, take
orders and serve meals to restaurant patrons for the evening, working alongside
restaurant employees. All of the tips the officers receive will help support
Special Olympics athletes. Come enjoy officers taking orders instead of giving
them during this one of a kind experience! For more information, visit www.soct.org and follow “Law Enforcement Torch Run
for Special Olympics” on Facebook.

The Torch Run raised over $500,000 for Special Olympics Connecticut.
