The College Scene on Main Street
Manchester Review: Mondays Cox PATV Channel 15- 9 PM
Art, open mic night poetry reading, Friday night music sessions and even Zumba classes are just a few of the activities offered at MCC On Main. MCC President Dr Glickman’s vision of making Manchester a college Town (in a good way) is one huge step closer given the presence of MCC On Main. With a facility offering an art gallery, classrooms, a conference room, cafeteria and free wi fi, MCC and the Town have provided a place for Manchester citizens to come together and enjoy cultural and educational events.
MCC on Main is featured on Manchester Review in November. Guests Endia DeCordova, Assistant Dean of Institutional Advancement, and Ta’Shema Odoms, Program Coordinator, discuss the new center with host, Jack Peak. They describe the mission, program offerings, how it was developed and plans for the future. The increased traffic on Main St is good for business and the connection with the college is inspiring. DeCordova says it’s already had an impact with new businesses opening up on Main St.
Manchester Review’s “MCC On Main” can be seen on Cox PATV, channel 15 at 9 PM, on November 12, 19 and 26. It can also be seen on YouTube. Comments and questions can be addressed to host Jack Peak at email@example.com
