Introductory Ukulele Class With Dr. Uke!

Summit Music Center is pleased to offer an introduction class in ukulele presented
by the one and only Dr. Uke! We are happy to have him joining us to take new students from their first chord through their first song! This fun and exciting class will be held on Saturday, January 19th at 11am at Summit Music Center- 421 Main Street, Manchester. The cost of the class is $15. Call to reserve your spot today!

About Dr. Uke:
Dr. Uke teaches ukulele to sixth grade students at the Gideon Welles School in Glastonbury. He has also led teacher workshops in Connecticut and Massachusetts, presented a ukulele workshop at the 2003 CMEA conference in Hartford and given two eight-week adult ed courses per year in Glastonbury. Dr. Uke and his daughters have performed for 15 years as the musical family group Dr. Uke and Daughters. His accompaniment for the group is now, exclusively, the ukulele. Dr. Uke leads the Glastonbury Ukulele Band, the Glastonbury Ukulele Club, and Glastonbury's BIG SING, a monthly, community-wide singalong.
