I can't wait to meet Gizmo! He and his mom have done so much to help the community, our rescue just being one small part of who they've contributed to. Good on you for providing them a space to fundraise for the scholarship, Wicked Chic! See you tonight!

This is a great co-op of artists and crafters that has become the go to place downtown. The Town of Manchester is working hard to revitalize historic downtown Manchester! Towns like Manchester and Torrington died when malls became the draw in America. Sadly many aren't old enough to remember what it was like to shop in a small town and support local businesses. So many events being held in Manchester's downtown and a lot of effort by al involved. Wicked Chic is a go to destination that would not exist had the town and property owners not made this empty storefront available to a wonder cooperative of artist who split the costs of the rent and utilities. This is a true cooperative effort owned by the wonderful group of artists who have throw their energy into it. No one person owns this "business" - it is a co-op effort that has blossomed into an energetic little storefront! Would love to see a list of all the artists who have work in this place. I am sure the list is very long! Good job artists!

The town is correct in saying it is co-op. This venture would not have been possible with out so many creative people working together. It is also true that Christiane is the owner and the one at the end of the day the one who developed the plan for Wicked Chic and works around the clock to grow this creative group, keep the lights on and the doors open. We all work together to welcome everyone to experience something other than the mass produced and generic. A Co-Op style where the artists share their time and talent - ideas are welcome and encouraged - Wicked Chic is a place where that idea you have always had in the back of your mind can possibly come true. So who is the "owner" doesn't really matter because there would be nothing with out all of these wonderfully creative people coming together and sharing their talents. The idea was for a place for community to come together and share their music, drawings, paintings, crafts, their imaginations.

Ashleigh's art rocks. If anyone has a chance to see her, I highly recommend it.
