6th Annual Girl Scout Town-wide Bridging Ceremony
Girl Scouts come together to be recognized for their efforts
The
Manchester Girl Scout Service Unit is hosting the sixth
annual town-wide bridging ceremony on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 4:00 pm
- 6:30 pm at the Assumption Church Hall. The bridging ceremony will recognize
Girl Scouts who are moving to the next level. “This is a great community
building event because it is the one time a year that all the Girl Scout troops
in town get together to celebrate their achievements. In addition, outstanding
Girl Scout volunteers are recognized with special awards," said Marilyn
Smith, Girl Scout Service Unit Manager for Manchester.
The 2014
Bridging ceremony will include: 10 Girl Scout Troops bridging to the next level;
a proclamation from Mayor Jay Moran; and a reading of the Girl Scout Promise and
Law
