Patch Poll: Would You Pay to Use Facebook?

Would you pay for a feature on Facebook that makes your posts appear at the top of your friends' newsfeeds?

How much would you pay to use Facebook?

According to a report in the Washington Post, the mega-popular social networking site is testing a feature in New Zealand that gives users the option to pay for more visibility in their posts.

This feature was offered for different price points to different users in the New Zealand region, according to the Washington Post.

But what about you? What if you had to pay to use Facebook? Would it curtail your posts or cause you to drop the site from your lifestyle altogether?

That would defeat the purpose of Facebook. Zuckerberg has said all along that Facebook would be free. If he changes that, the net worth of his company would go to zero faster than a status update.

I'm just not that self-centered or egotistical. If my friends want to see what I'm posting & they've missed something on the newsfeed, then they'll just pop over to my personal page and see what i posted. Otherwise ... :)

Facebook will become a Political Campaign website if they start charging a fee to use it. Most people enjoy FB as a social site and to play games, communicate information and to get informed. No need to start charging a fee, look at the choices we get for paying for CABLE TV "They've control everything we want to see, and keep upping the CHARGES" FACEBOOK' popularity is because it's FREE!
