Irish eyes were smiling in Connecticut's capital city Saturday, March 10, for the 41st Annual Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade

Thousands of green-clad revelers took to the streets early Saturday morning to line the parade route - and for the partying that accompanies the celebration. The parade began at the State Capitol, continued onto Main, Asylum and Ford streets before ending under the city’s Memorial Arch.

A number of civic groups and community organizations marched, while participating towns included Hartford, West Hartford, Manchester, South Windsor, Rocky Hill, Hebron, Vernon, Wethersfield, Newington, East Hartford, Glastonbury and Suffield.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy led a host of dignitaries along the route, including U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman and Congressman John Larson.

If you attended or participated in the parade, you can send us your pictures here and we’ll include them in this gallery.
