Residents are being warned to watch for strong winds and large hail until 9 p.m. this evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Manchester and the northern Connecticut area through 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.
The weather service is warning of strong, gusty winds and large hail over portions of northern Connecticut, western Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire with a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
