Light Snow and Sleet Forecast for Monday

The National Weather Service says about an inch of snow will accumulate Monday afternoon before turning to sleet in the evening.

The commute home Monday evening could be a messy one.

The National Weather Service is forecasting that Manchester will get almost an inch of snow in the afternoon, starting around 4 p.m., before turning over to sleet and rain in the evening.

The chance for snow is 80 percent, according to the weather service.

The good news is that temperatures are climbing back from the arctic blast that set in during the past week. Temperatures will break the freezing point on Monday, with a high of 34 predicted. The low expected is at 32.

The wet weather will likely continue through the week, as the weather service is forecasting a chance of rain through Thursday.

What do you think: Do you prefer rain or snow?

Assumption School offers an excellent education, with small class sizes. The environment isRead More welcoming for every child, and values that last a lifetime are taught. Students also make friends for life. I still hang out with my friends from the Assumption School class of 1966!
