Golf Tournament Honors Legacy of Local 9/11 Victim

The Eagle's Cup Classic, held at the Manchester Country Club, raises money in memory of native Bruce Eagleson, who died on Sept. 11, 2001.

This weekend golfers will drive, chip and putt in memory of , a beloved father, husband and community member who was killed on September 11, 2001.

The Eagle's Cup Classic will be held on Sunday, Sept. 25 at .

Over the past decade, the golf tournament has raised more than $100,000 in support of several local causes established in Eagleson's memory, including The Instructor's of the Handicapp in Manchester,  and the  Strong Kids Camp in Middletown.

When: Sunday, September 25
           12 p.m. - Registration & Lunch
           1 p.m. - Tournament start
           6 p.m. - Dinner

Entry Fee: $125 per player (includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner after golf with cash bar, and prizes) $35 per person for dinner ONLY.

Interested participants may register the day of the tournament (Individual players will be paired with teams).
