When does the Academy Awards begin?

The awards show will start at 7:30 p.m. central time on ABC and is scheduled to last three hours.  It will be hosted by "Family Guy" and "Ted" star Seth MacFarlane and televised live in more than 225 countries.  There will be pre-show broadcast for the Oscars ceremony that will begin at 6 p.m. on ABC.

When everyone thought Lincoln would take many Oskars, it was proven that when writers take (creative ) license with history they loose. This was proven when the movie Argo won best picture. Congratulations to Ben Affleck and everyone involved with this movie.
