Change is a GOOD Thing - Especially When There Are Holes in Your Socks!

Change may be a good thing.

There are those things you become comfortable with, like a pair of old socks. Over time those socks my loose their shape, become a bit dingy but they will always keep your feet warm on a cold night. Then one day a toe wiggles its way outside of that comfort zone. Is it time to darn those socks or put them aside and knit a new pair?

Change doesn't always come easy to those who have worn the same pair of socks for several decades. Fashion trends may have become a bit outrageous and just too daring for some to try on. Eventually those socks will wear out and will no-longer serve their purpose. Time for a new pair.

The decision to go with the same old pair or try on something a bit more colorful is sometimes a difficult one to make. What happens if the new ones don't fit; what happens if they clash with the old uniform; what happens if you just don't like them? Save the receipt and try to get a refund minus the restocking fee. Fashion trends do repeat cycles so just wait until the old is new again - meanwhile your toes just may catch cold.

Trendsetters inspire, motivate and encourage those with shoes still in the box to try on socks with stripes, and sparkles. Eventually these too will loose shape and develop a hole but that is the beauty - lots more to knit and try on and with any luck become your favorite for at least a little while.

So much to choose from, variety is the spice of life and I do like my food full of spicy!

Thinking back a few decades ago to my first pair of lime green fish net stockings - so totally outrageous but complimented my outfit I was wearing on the first day at my new school. Don't want to loose my passion for new socks or going barefoot in the rain - CHANGE may be a good thing:)

Stay tuned for what may come next!
