New England Document Systems Celebrates 30 Years

Manchester, NH, 06/19/14 — New England Document Systems (NEdocs), a leading provider of document management and business process solutions, is proud to be celebrating its 30th year in business. Over the last 3 decades, NEdocs has grown and evolved from its microfilming roots into a premier document imaging and management solutions provider for mid-large sized companies throughout the Northeast.

Founded as New England Micrographics by Nick Brattan and Donald Forst in the fall of 1983, New England Document Systems has remained ahead of the technology curve by consistently investing and implementing new products and solutions to streamline document management and workflow processes for its many customers. “Our business and industry have evolved tremendously over 30 years,” stated Mr. Brattan. “We started as a microfilm business, and today we offer turn-key software solutions and services that improve business processes while virtually eliminating the need for paper.”

The company came from humble beginnings, renting only a small portion of their current facility at 750 East Industrial Park Drive, Manchester, NH. However, as their business continued to grow, so did their need for space, prompting a slow unit by unit expansion. Eventually the entire building became home to New England Document Systems. However, this expansion was only the beginning. In 2000, Nick and Donald purchased land in Hooksett, NH in order to construct their state-of-the-art records storage center. Nick watched as the demand for off-site records storage increased, and with it the size of his records storage center – doubling after only 1 year. Today, this facility continues to provide customers with a truly secure storage center which ensures the safety of their business critical files.

The slow expansion of New England Document Systems was done intentionally. According to Nick, “we were careful not to grow too quickly in order to maintain our unique and successful business model centered around an exceptional customer service philosophy.”

Their commitment to this customer service philosophy is as strong today as it was over 30 years ago, and in many ways helps set NEdocs apart from other players in the industry. With a unique approach and commitment to customer satisfaction, NEdocs can sum up their business philosophy with one word – SPRINKLES. Sprinkles are not only an added treat to your ice cream sundae - they are the added value to services. For NEdocs, sprinkles represent customer service that goes beyond the call of duty. This mindset is the first of its kind, focusing on establishing and accommodating true partnerships with each client. This philosophy embodies unconditional and readily available support, a zero pressure sales cycle, and a commitment to going the extra mile while expecting nothing more than providing a truly satisfying user experience.

The future looks bright for New England Document Systems due to their strong values and commitment to both technology and their staff. “We are very fortunate to have developed such strong relationships,” added Brattan, “many businesses today fail to recognize the true value of their customers and the staff that makes it all possible.”

As they plan for the next 30 years, their team of roughly 80 employees is excited to continue watching the growth of their company as it continues to establish itself as one of New England’s premier document management and business solutions providers.
