Farmington Bank Opens East Hartford Branch

Farmington Bank announced that it is opening a new branch office in East Hartford on Thursday, July 18.  The branch is located at 957 Main Street.

Farmington Bank’s East Hartford branch office is designed in a modern, customer-friendly setting.  The new branch at 957 Main Street is located on the corner of Governor Street and Main Street, and is part of the Gateway Square Project for the East Hartford downtown revitalization.

Leading Farmington Bank’s East Hartford branch office is Michael Costa, vice president and branch manager. Costa, with more than seven years of experience in the banking industry, comes to Farmington Bank from Banco Santander.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Connecticut.  Costa is president of The Portuguese Foundation, Inc., a non-profit cultural and scholarship organization in Connecticut.

To mark its new presence in East Hartford, Farmington Bank will host a month-long Grand Opening at the branch from September 9 through October 5.  The month-long celebration will include daily prizes and a series of Saturday events suited for all ages or the entire family.
