Congressman Larson Keynote Speaker at Pratt & Whitney-sponsored Middlesex County Chamber Breakfast Meeting

Bennett M. Croswell, pictured at left in photo, president of Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, introduced Congressman John Larson at the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Monthly Breakfast Meeting on September 22.  The event, sponsored by Pratt & Whitney, was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell.

"He truly deserves a big 'thank you' from Pratt & Whitney, but anyone who cares about job creation and a thriving economy in greater Hartford and the Connecticut area owes Congressman Larson a debt of gratitude," said Croswell. Larson, who, this past year was named co-chairman of the Joint Strike Fighter Caucus, is part of the bi-partisan group charged with garnering support for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program and keeping members informed on issues related to the program's development, testing and deployment.

"It is very important when you have a corporate citizen like Pratt & Whitney," Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce President Larry McHugh said, adding, "I am very proud of Pratt for their corporate support. Everything they do in this community of Middlesex County, especially in the city of Middletown, and throughout the state, is outstanding. You are a complete, great role model for what is really good in corporate America, and I'd like to really thank you for that."
