The Auxiliary of Manchester Memorial Hospital Awards Four Health Care Scholarships

The scholarships will allow four high school graduates to further their education in the medical field.

The Auxiliary of Manchester Memorial Hospital recently awarded scholarships to four high school graduates who are furthering their education in the medical field. The scholarships are funded from revenues generated by the Auxiliary Gift Shops at Manchester Memorial Hospital and The Penny Saver Thrift Shop in Manchester.
 
Roberta Irish, Auxiliary President and Chair of the Scholarship Committee, Donna Cammeyer, Elaine Charizone, Marilyn Peracchio, Pat Trask, Barbara Hamilton, and Alice Carlson chose the recipients based on their scholastic achievements, community volunteerism, personal achievements and recommendations from teachers and mentors.

 

The 2012 recipients are: Justin Gottier (Ellington High School), Adam Kolb (Avon High School), Anne Michaud (Rham High School), and Bethany Rang (East Catholic High School).
