Rockville Bank Keeps Ratings Streak Intact

Bauer Financial has again given Rockville Bank a major rating.

Bauer Financial Inc., a leading nationwide bank rating and research firm, has announced that it has awarded Rockville Bank its Superior 5-Star rating.

The rating indicates that Rockville Bank is one of the strongest financial institutions banks in the nation, bank officials said.

To earn the rating, Rockville Bank has to excel in the areas of capital, asset quality and profitability. Rockville Bank has earned the rating for the past 29 quarters.


“Consumers and businesses alike have come to depend on Bauer’s 5-Star rating system as they navigate through their banking choices,” said Karen L. Dorway, president of the rating firm. “They know to look for the 5-Star logo to ensure that the trust they have in their bank is well-placed."

She said under President and Chief Operating Officer William H.W. Crawford IV, the bank and its parent company and Rockville Financial Inc., the institution has earned "trust and respect."

She added, "The organization is a true beacon in the community.”
 
Rockville Bank was established in 1858 and operates through 21 branches in Hartford, New London and Tolland counties, including three in Manchester.
