Plaza Azteca's Outdoor Patio Approved

The proposed patio will be able to accommodate 97 patrons at 20 tables and include an outdoor bar.

The town's Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved 's proposal to add an 1,808 square foot as part of its meeting Monday evening. 

The vote was 5-0 to approve the request. 

Under the plan, the patio would be a fenced-in dining area with a decorative wall that would be able to accommodate 97 patrons at 20 tables and would also include an outdoor bar. The area of its business that Plaza Azteca has proposed to locate the patio is currently a landscaped lawn that includes one tree (a diagram of the proposed patio is attached to this article).

Plaza Azteca can currently handle seating for a maximum of 233 patrons indoors.
